Companies and Organizations

  • Capital Commission
A special thanks to Joan Cumming, David McKenzie and the staff of the Capital Commission for information and encouragement. The Capital Commission sponsors and organizes many events including the Festival of the Fathers. Each summer visitors to Charlottetown are entertained with side walk vignettes featuring some of the most well known Fathers of Confederation. The actors are known as the Confederation Players. The actors are trained by the Capital Commission and are well versed in their historical roles. These professionals remain in character at all times and are quite approachable by visitors. The vignettes performed by these actors provided the bases for much of the video we shot for this project.

  • Confederation Centre of the Arts
Many thanks to Terry Graff and the staff of Confederation Centre of the Arts. Don't forget to visit the Robert Harris online exhibit. When visiting Charlottetown, a trip to the Centre is an entertaining and interesting experience.

In particular we would like to thank Sharon Larter whose extensive knowledge and help were invaluable to this project. Thanks to Tammy Poole who provided the research on Province House. Thanks also to Joe Trainor and Joanne Holden Arbing.
